Developed and operated by the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC), Cyber Essentials is considered the best first step to a more secure network, ensuring protection from 80% of the most basic cyber security breaches.
The Cyber Essentials certification demonstrates our commitment to cyber security and safeguarding our business operations. Providing our customers and partners with confidence in our solutions.
Case Pilots is delighted to announce that we recently achieved certification to Cyber Essentials Plus certification, the higher level qualification forming part of the UK Government-backed Cyber Essentials Scheme. In order to achieve certification to Cyber Essentials Plus, a third party hands-on technical verification was conducted to ensure Case Pilots fully met the requirements of five basic control areas (access control, secure configuration, software updates, malware protection and firewalls and routers). This technical assessment was conducted by the certification body URM Consulting Services and involved a thorough vulnerability scan.
URM’s assessor commented that, “The company demonstrates a proactive approach by actively seeking advice and readily embracing recommended changes to bolster their security posture”.
Having achieved certification to Cyber Essentials, Case Pilots is now listed on a directory of certificate organisations which is operated by IASME, the National Cyber Security Centre’s (NCSC’s) Cyber Essentials Partner, responsible for the delivery of the scheme.
